Dear sevenforums,
I present you a strange case I stumbled upon.
From time to time applications (firefox, draw application) just freeze. Task-Manager shows them as still responding, but I cant do anything. Neither minimize, nor click anything. Windows Minimize-All-Button (bottom right) works though. I can even start a new session of that application. The only solution right now is to force-quit it with the task-manager, but then I lose all my progress.
The strange thing about it is, that whenever I click at the frozen application I can hear an alarm tone.
This is the same sound you get, when you click at a window when there is a subwindow still open.
For Example when you open the adapter settings of your wireless connection and then click on the overview of all the adapter (I hope its clear now, really hard to explain).
Specs of the PC:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel Core i5 CPU 3340M @ 2.70 GHz
8GB RAM
250 GB SSD
Any Idea, how to fix this, or how what causes this error?
Sincerly
