Random Black Screens

I've been getting regular black screens for the last week or so. Timeframe varies but is between a few seconds after reaching desktop and minutes. Happens for no obvious reason (not under load or using particular program). Having looked around this site and others for people with similar issues I've tried:
  • ran prime95 (no issues)
  • ran memtest86 (no issues)
  • ran seatools all tests on HDD and SSD (no issues)
  • ran malwarebytes (no issues)
  • ran windows memory diagnostic (no issues)
  • updated GPU driver
  • tried running driver verifier but computer crashes before it can complete and no minidump generated (see below)
  • reseating the ram
I got a new PSU about a month ago, but I don't think it's related to that as there weren't any problem initially, and the lights on the GPU and all the fans continue to spin when the screen goes black. Plus if I boot into safe mode there are no black screen problems.

The computer isn't generating a minidump (spent some time trying to get to the bottom of this with no luck), but the event viewer suggested issues with some service dependencies. I've made sure the services and dependencies start automatically. I couldn't get the uploader to work but I've attached a link to a copy of the event viewer information, since there are a lot of errors listed that might be useful.

Computer details:

OS: Windows 7
x64
Original OS: Windows 7
OS: retail version
Age of system: ~2years
Age of OS: same as system
Desktop
CPU: Intel i5-4690
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 380
Mobo: Gigabyte H97M-D3H
PSU: HyperS 700w

Like I said, I got an error when I tried to attach these files, but here are links. Happy to provide them some other way if someone has a suggestion.

Like I said in the original post, I get an error when I try to upload either file. I managed to upload a picture of the events viewer, but I don't know how helpful that will be.

Thanks, the scan for the 4TB drive has been going for 5 hours and still has 1TB to go, so it'll take a while, but I'll post the results when I'm done.

Thanks for your help, I've attached everything I could. Didn't see a CPU usage stat, so hopefully I've got everything you were after, but if not let me know what I've missed and I'll give it another go.

Had a few problems with chkdsk. It ran on the SSD but once it finished it crashed on reaching desktop and then froze when restarting into safe mode. For whatever reason, no event viewer saved (I didn't see any errors on screen, but might have missed something). Had a few goes and managed to get something that is hopefully useful.
Scanning the HDD I got a access denied (despite running it in as an administrator), but eventually got it to work.

Thanks I've used the tool to update my system specs. In terms of the BIOS, nothing has been overclocked. I did reset the BIOS having read that solved some people's issues, but it hasn't helped obviously

Could you try to use the Intel GPU instead of the AMD GPU?

The computer isn't generating a minidump (spent some time trying to get to the bottom of this with no luck)
That's because a black screen is not a blue screen, only a bluescreen generates a dump. A black screen is that the user gets no visual screen but the system itself doesn't crash.

Thanks, I was puzzled about the dump because the first couple of times it did generate one. In terms of switching GPUs, do you just want me to disable the AMD in device manager or something else?

Physically remove it, that would prevent any issues with the device manager and/or BIOS.

I've disabled in device manager and that's fixed the issue. Thanks for your help, really appreciate it. Any suggestions for determining if the GPU needs replacing or if its a software issue?

If possible, seat the GPU into another slot and/or test the GPU in a different system.
