Hello gary, so i have had a look at your dump files.

I was able to pull this from the event log.

Please look at the bottom of the code.
Code:
Event[17720]:
  Log Name: System
  Source: Ntfs
  Date: 2014-06-28T09:23:05.588
  Event ID: 55
  Task: N/A
  Level: Error
  Opcode: Info
  Keyword: N/A
  User: S-1-5-18
  User Name: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
  Computer: GaryPC
  Description:
[COLOR="Red"]A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume C:.[/COLOR]

The exact nature of the corruption is unknown. The file system structures need to be scanned online.

I'd suggest downloading the HDD manufacturer's diagnostics tool and testing the drive to be sure a failing drive isn't causing your issues.

It would appear that your HDD is failing. i would recommend performing a backup as soon as possible.

:ar: Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

   Note
MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.
