Hello :)

I am having random BSOD issues, just recently i download blue screen view
and at the top of the list it has ntoskrnl.exe that seemed to be causing the issue.

I will upload the minidump file if that makes things easier, besides that i don't know much else to report on, help is appreciated.

Thanks :)

The probable causes of Stop 3B are System service, Device driver, graphics driver, memory.

So, in this situation, we are suggesting you to enable Driver Verifier.
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Then report us back, with the crash dumps, if there are any.

One more thing, Please upload your msinfo32.nfo file. To get this:

  • Click on the Start
    orb.png
  • Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box
  • When it opens, go to File, Save
  • Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember
  • Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info
  • Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder
  • Upload the .zip file here.

Urgent!

Hey mate, i enabled the driver verifier and right after the restart i received another blue screen and now i can't get into my computer at all!

I'm on a laptop at the moment. Is something like this common, a warning may have been nice.

The BSOD happens as windows is loading with the logo etc.

It comes up as 0x000000c9.

Please help, thanks.

It is DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION, Stop 0xC9.

Caused solely by driver verifier.

Boot into safe mode, and disable Driver Verifier.

Then boot normally, collect the dump, and upload that for us.

Sorry to be a bother but would you be able to specify which one i need to download,
the station-drivers website looks especially confusing.

Just so i don't end up installing the wrong thing and creating more problems.

Thanks :)

Don't worry if its not the right one it will not install, You want the drivers not the firmwares

Okay, i did everything except for the BIOS update because it comes as a ROM file and i have no idea what to do with that, i researched a little and the process sounded risky.

What shall i do now? :)

Also what should i use as a replacement for Daemon Tools?

OK, you may leave the BIOS at it is for now.

Is there any more crashes after following Anthony's instruction? If yes, upload those crash dumps. If no, observe how the system is working.

As a replacement of DaemonTools, use MagicDisc. It does not use stpd.sys.
