OK, after some really thorough testing, I have finally confirmed that I no longer have this problem. The issue was due to my motherboard being too tightly attached to the case, where the pins were no perfectly level, causing the motherboard to bend slightly and so pushing my RAM out of its slots.
After some further BIOS updates from my manufacturer I no longer experience BSODs.
