Random BSOD - ntoskrnl.exe?

Hello everybody,

I am running a relatively new Win7 x64 System (about 4 weeks old) and getting now since one week or so random bsod with multiple error codes and causes. But mostly ntoskrnl.exe seems to be th culprit.
It happens more or less randomly, but more often while using graphic programs as painter or games. Though somtims also in idle/while surfing/ listing to music/ wahtching video...

I would be glad if someone could help me.

Can you please update these old drivers? Old drivers can cause BSOD...

Upgrade to a Windows 7 Certified Webcam. This is obsolete and will not work with Windows 7.

wacommousefilter.sys Sat Feb 17 07:12:17 2007 - Wacom(tablet) Mouse Filter. Wacom Hardware Drivers. Update this driver or rename it it. See note below.

Renaming drivers: create a restore point, using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver files, and rename them from .sys to .old. Reboot and the drivers will not load. This will break whatever software or hardware these drivers are associated with.

Please REMOVE Daemon Tools/Alcohol 120%. They use a file sptd.sys, which is causing BSOD on some Windows 7 Systems. Use this SPTD uninstaller to delete sptd.sys when you are finished: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Update those drives (or rename), get rid of Daemon Tools, sptd.sys and reboot the system. See how the system goes. If BSOD occurs again, upload them. We will go from there.

thanks for the fast and professional answers.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the amd/ati drivers. Uninstalled the Wacom driver and daemon tools too.

I don't even own anything from Zonet. I am using an old a-quip wireless usb adapter with the most actual drivers i could found to access the internet.

Webcam is a cheap speedlink one. worked perfectly so far...

I also did a ram check with memtest86+ on each of my two ram moduls. No errors.

But i've got pretty soon another bsod...

Do you know the brand of the Wireless USB adapter?
The webcam you have probably will not work with Windows 7 - you will need to buy a new one that will work with Win 7.

For memtest, please run at least 6-8 hours (7 passes)

The webcam does work perfectly under win7...

The brand of the wireless Usb adapter is "a-quip", model A/Wlan-1, 54M Usb wireless

I did a longer memtest as suggested...no errors.

I don't think the A-Quip Wireless USB adapter will work well with Windows 7. BSOD is blaming it. Could you try and replace?

Do you know the model number and model name of the webcam?

I need to buy a new Wireless adapter first..

Try update the Speedlink Webcam. I reckon it may work fine with Windows 7. (not sure).

I gues I have found a solution:
after testing memtesting my ram again (both moduls at the same time and for about 10h, 9 runs) I have go a couple of memory errors. I dicoverd in memtest, that my ram was set to 200mhz (ddr3_400) cl7 by default. But my ram is a 666 (ddr3_1333) cl9 one...my mainboard choosed the wrong settings by default. After changing those manually to factory settings evreything runs fine so far. not a singly bluescreen today.

If anyobdy else has a phenom in combination with an ASRock 880 mainboard an a-data 1333 cl9 ram and encounters random bsod....let them check their ram settings. default auto settings are probably to blame for the bsods.
