I had random BSOD and finally reinstalled everything from the Toshiba backup disks I made from the day I got the computer.

After carefully installing all my software, used the latest Nvidia drivers, creating restore points, etc. everything was fine for a few weeks and once again the BSOD issue has returned happening at least once a day. It appears random and happens most often when the computer is just sitting idle.

I'm not savvy enough to read crash dumps (and Microsoft's online process is useless) so I've had little choice but to ask anyone out there for help... HELP!!!

I'm running the Toshiba OEM version of W7 Home Premium 64 bit
The laptop was purchased last August

Hello,

It seems that PC Tools is the cause of these BSODs. Please remove it, including ThreatFire. Replace it with the free Microsoft Security Essentials.

It would also be a good idea to install SP1: Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

SP1 fixes many bugs and the like, that may be contributing to these BSODs.

If the BSODs persist, run driver verifier: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

After that, please upload a jcgriff2 report: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html
