Random BSOD System_Service_Exception

Hello folks-I have lately been getting random BSODs that usually come up as System_Service_Exception. They seem to happen mostly as I am closing programs to get ready to shut down my computer but have happened just randomly a few times as well. I don't always get minidumps when it happens and the most recent one that occurred yesterday evening did not create one but I have attached the 2 dumps that I found from previous occurrences. Any help you can all give would be greatly appreciated. My system details are all in my profile and if there is any other info at all that would be helpful please feel free to let me know and I will make sure you get it. Thanks in advance!!!

Can you try updating your GPU drivers,
if you are unsure how then here's some instructions.

Stress test your graphics card with Furmark

I recommend running it for around 30 minutes

   Warning

Furmark will increase the temperature of your GPU rapidly so keep and eye on your temperatures

Hello and thank you for your help. I updated my driver as you said and I have downloaded FurMark and started to run it but realized that I don't know exactly what I am looking for during the test. Does it make a log of any errors or do I need to watch the screen for issues or....? Thanks again!!

Just run it for around 30 minutes and if there are any crashes whilst running let us know.
When we say artifacts we mean things that aren't supposed to be there like screen tears.

I haven't gotten around to running the furmark test as of yet but I do have a new piece of information to add to my situation. I have had a few more BSODs and they seem to be mostly happening when I am preparing to shut down and are triggered by Google Chrome being closed. I wasn't sure if that would be of interest so I figured I would mention it and I will be running furmakr soon and will let you know the result.

Enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier -Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

   Information

Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

   Warning

Before enabling DV, make sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point Manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

• If you fail to get on the Desktop because of DV, Boot into Advanced Boot Options > Safe mode. Disable DV there. Now boot normally again, and try following the instruction of enabling DV again.
• If you cannot boot in Safe mode too, do a System Restore to a point you made earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

I finally got around to enabling driver verifier. It did not cause any BSODs so there are no minidumps but I did have several occurrences where, when I went to shut down programs or the computer, the screen went all goofy. It looked like a frozen scrambled cable TV signal. The picture was like vertical lines across the screen with the colors that should have been there but all screwed up. I had to use the reset button on my case to resolve the issue.

That sounds like a failing GPU then..

Run Furmark again, follow the previous instructions.
Try re-seating your graphics card.
Is there enough airflow?
Is your computer getting hot?
Post a screenshot of your computer components with Speccy

Can you try a different graphics card.

After my last post I found that there was a new driver/software package available for my video card. I installed that and have not had a problem since. I have my fingers crossed that this may have taken care of my issue. I appreciate your assistance and I hope that there will not be any further posts by me in this thread.
