Hi Guys,

My laptop has recently started giving me the BSOD and I have no idea how to go about fixing this.

I have read the post on what to do and the files you need should be attached.

The crash dumps are kinda old, more than one months.

This one indicates a hardware issue.

Please disable your webcam and see if it changes anything there or not. Also for further processing, upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Thanks for the reply,

I have had problems with the webcam crashing and I have had to move the screen for it to fix itself. I have now disabled it and will see if it fixes the problem.

I have attached the MSINFO32 file you requested

Nice to have the msinfo file. Will compare it with any further crash dump :)

Now observe the situation ... if it crashing anymore or not. If it crashes again, post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions. I am not sure that the webcam is the source of all the issues, but it is one of the problematic elements for sure.
