Solved Random BSOD While playing a game

Here are the diagnostic tool things. I had this BSOD occuring 2 times . I want to know fast what is causing it. All my data and my things are on this laptop .

Heat:
-Only use the laptop on a hard surface with nothing blocking any of the vents.
-Use a laptop cooling pad if possible
-Blow out all vents with canned air (DO NOT use a vacuum cleaner or an air compressor, they can damage the components).
-Ensure that the fan comes on and is blowing air out of the vent (may not happen at startup, but should happen after using it for a while).

System Temperature

Ensure that there are no heat issues, For monitoring heat of the system use Speccy or HWMonitor

Here is the CrystalDiskInfo screenshot. I know my computer is getting hot. Also got a BSOD today and ran startup repair but no minidump collected.

You should back up your data from that hard drive.
Can you also post a screenshot from speccy or hardware monitor?

Here it is. I finally managed to turn on my laptop. I saw that when I accessed bios configuration and windows memory tool from boot, it also turned off AUTOMATICALLY! I got no BSOD. That means it might be some hardware problem or otherwise, a heat problem? Please give me a detailed analysis of my SF recovery tool files. Thanks.

I think Koolkat gave excellent advice. From just looking at the Speccy report, your problem looks to be heat. In addition to the excellent suggestions Koolkat gave, you may try a laptop cooler and see if that helps. As far as your personal data, as long as the hard drive is operational, You can remove it from the laptop and connect it in an external hard drive enclosure and use another computer to copy it off. From looking at the CrystalDisk info, I would not wait to do that. Your hard drive appears to be failing, which could possibly be from the heat issue.

Yes the temp of the HDD is beyond the max in Crystal Disk Info, 50C is max. Have you had the BSODs before or is it a new issue? Follow Kool Kat's guideline for usage too.

I will reiterate, you should get a new HDD real soon, before the impending failure happens. A replacement with a 7200RPM would help the laptop perform better.

Gary, reallocated sectors count is extremely high also. Imminent failure if not already. Perhaps because of the high temps, don't you think?

It may be heat, yes. Excessive heat can foul up the drive's control circuits.

Britton30: This is a new issue. I've had this kind of issue before last year but it happened only one time without any BSOD. It also happened with my older laptop (Which had Windows 7 but now has Windows 8) but still no BSOD. It also only happens in summers.
essenbe: I would do that; could you give me steps?

koolkat77: Thanks for your excellent advice! My issue seems to be under control (I think it is under control at least a bit but it still heats up miserably). I think I must get a laptop cooling pad. Do you think the fan was getting clogged somehow while I was getting BSODs?

aritra2116, I assume you are talking about copying your personal information . Do you have an external hard drive and does your current hard drive still boot? If the answer to both of those is yes, you can copy the info out by, for example go the my music folder than right click it, select copy, go to the external hard drive and click paste. It should copy the entire music folder, you would do that for the pictures folder, documents folder and videos folder. Another way to copy everything at once is open explorer, go to your C drive and open it find the users folder and copy the C:/users to the external hard drive. that will copy everything at once. It will take some time for it to copy, but it will copy not only music, pictures and documents, but also favorites, downloads, links and others.

Hot drive, only in the simmer. You are cooking the drive and need to see if the vents are clogged, even a little bit can raise temps.

This may give you some time to get your data copied, if you can get zeros as shown.

Thanks to you guys very much! I got my laptop repaired and found out that the fan was getting clogged just as I predicted. I also bought a laptop cooling pad and a Seagate 1 TB external hard drive for backing up my data. I will report to you guys if I face further problems. Thanks!

Just to confirm, I got a Bug Check 0xC000021A: STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED BSOD. How could heat cause such bsod? http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff560177(v=vs.85).aspx

You should monitor your CPU and GPU temps at all times. Heat will cause the computer to shut down in order to protect itself. Do you hear the fan running? It should be running very fast if the computer is getting that hot. You shouldn't let it get hot enough to shut down itself. You should shut it down when you see the temps getting very high. You could have the computer clogged up. the fan has failed or the CPU fan/heatsink has failed.
