Random BSOD Without Clear Cause

Today while browsing on Firefox, I experienced a BSOD. It was accompanied by a low whine that continued through the BSOD until the computer shut down. I'm unsure of the cause.

This is the second BSOD I've experienced with my current computer, the first having occurred last year in October/November. When the BSOD did not seem to repeat itself after the first incident, I decided not to investigate and never discovered the cause of that either.
