Please help getting error

shutting me down every few hours.
I'm not sure why I suspect it has some thing to do with running an nvidea card on this amd motherboard because of the on board video.I reinstalled windows and did not install the on board graphics driver could this be the problem? I thought you were not supposed to install the amd software if you had a nvidea card. I tend to hear some degredation in sound when this happens. My specs are:
hp p6733w
8-gigs ddr-3 ram
amd phenom II x2 511 @3.4g
win 7 64 bit
