I've also noticed that the blue screen seems to always occur when the computer is in sleep mode. Lately the computer seems to be moving alot more sluggishly as well, as if the issue is eating up alot of ram. I'm unsure if this is due to hardware incompatibility or a driver issue, or even some sort of malicious program, although neither MSE or Malwarebytes have found anything after numerous scans. I'm considering doing a clean install of windows, but perhaps that might not even solve the issue.

I uninstalled the motionjoy driver and am now using the driver found here: XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller

So far so good, I've allowed my computer to enter and wake from sleep mode several times with no blue screen. I never liked the motionjoy driver anyway, the software you need to use in order to download it always behaved maliciously, and the new driver i found works just as well. Thanks for your help, if anything persist i will post again

Came home today to see that my computer bluescreened again while in sleep mode. Is it perhaps the new driver I've been using for my ds3 controller, or is it some other problem? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

The same thing.... Dualshock3.
BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff88000ec7f0f, fffff8800d070318, fffff8800d06fb70}

Probably caused by : MijXfilt.sys ( MijXfilt+2033 )

Followup: MachineOwner
---------
And the same driver ... 0.7.1001.
Code:
    Image name: MijXfilt.sys
[COLOR=Red]    Timestamp:        Sat May 12 09:57:12 2012[/COLOR] (4FADE6A0)
Apply any driver version other than 0.7.1001 ..... it will not BSOD. I am sorry that I am failing to supply the working link to http://www.motioninjoy.com/download ..... but I will see what I can.

Edit: I tried to see if anybody else have an idea: http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/364039-motioninjoy-dualshock3-conroller-driver.html

EDIT again: Got some suggestions from Maxie .... Read it ... Proper drivers have finally been made to use your Dualshock 3 on your PC! ... it might be helpful.

I uninstalled motionjoy from my computer entirely, and i thought that it would have gotten rid of the driver. Then I downloaded a new driver from Proper drivers have finally been made to use your Dualshock 3 on your PC! as i said in my last response. It was working fine for a few days and then it bluescreened again. Is it possible that the motionjoy driver is still on my pc? Or perhaps even the driver from Maxie is causing my computer to bluescreen?

I cannot test it as I dont use those devices, I am not a gamer.

But if that link also installs version 0.7.1001 (as it seems from your data), then it will yield the same result.

You need a DS3 controller below version 0.7.1001. The said version is a crasher very widely noticed. Unfortunately I cannot provide an earlier driver to you, the source that I have in my bookmarks (MotionInJoy blog) does not display anything.

Sorry that I could not be helpful. I know the solution but dont have the required thing with me. :(

Ok, So even though I uninstalled the motionjoy driver within the control panel, the driver is still on my computer! Worse than that, I am unable to delete it. Every time I attempt to do so a window pops up saying that I have no permission to do so. Even when I go into the properties and change the owner to my user, the only user on the pc, and then change the permissions to allow full control, it will not allow me to delete it. Any ideas on how to get rid of this thing?

Ok, I reinstalled motionjoy and from the driver panel within motionjoy removed the specified driver, and subsequently uninstalled motionjoy. Now the driver is gone from the system32 folder. Hopefully it is gone for good. Thank you for your help, if I get a bluescreen yet again I'll be back lol.
