I have looked over that post previously
not exactly sure where to start though

I did try the Furmark test before and my GPU temp climbed quickly and I turned it off around 83C within a minute or so of starting the test ... not sure if this is normal?
(its running idle at 61C right now)

Just ran the Video Memory Stress Test...with not errors

I had tired this vid card in another computer a while back and it ran fine for a couple hours so I didnt think it was hardware related

should I reupdate my vid card drivers to the most recent again?

Also, for learning purposes, how did you come to the conclusion it is the video card drivers?

Thanks again

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7F1C0)

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver which cannot be identified at this time.

I am sorry about such a late reply. As life has been very busy.

Please do not worry about posting these crash descriptions. Just post up the crash files using the SF tool.

This way we can analyze much better.
