Hello all, I am new here. I have read a lot of threads, but yet I see that all bsods are very individual, and thought that someone could help me too.I have tried all test I can find free on internet, memtests, strestests, cpu, gpu and others. But no errors found so far. I am experiencing BSODs with different causes as you will see in minidumbs. I had the same problem when using win xp, now I am on win 7 but the error persist quite the same. Ussualy I get them when playing (MW2 is the only game) and recently got some when watching movie over vlc and just browsing on internet. I have also made system and registry checks and it was ok.
I was trying driver verifier too and got a bsod on DB3G.sys driver which is my mouse driver. However after uninstalling it the problem left. After trying to verify not checked this driver I got a bsod with halmacpi.dll which is a microsoft dirver (I have checked only non microsoft drivers on verifier).
The temperature (when playing) of CPU is 58-62C, GPU 50-58C, Mobo 42-46
I have already upgraded my bios too.
The voltage of 3,5 and 12V is good, thou sppedfan shows only 11,4V on 12V rail, but I have checked it myself with multimeter via molex connector and it was 12,1V without GPU load and about 11,9 with GPU load.
Any thoughts guys? :)

Thank you a lot.
I was making a GPU test (Video memory stress test v1.7.116) and it started to make a lot of errors. a hint poped up: Too many specific errors, try without ignoring colors bit mask option.
it was like:
Error at [0F200000]: must be FFFF, but found 7FFF (bits: 1000000000000000)
Error at [0F200002]: must be FFFF, but found 7FFF (bits: 1000000000000000)

Error at [0F200008]: must be FFFF, but found 7FFF (bits: 1000000000000000)
and so on, so I stopped the test

This one is pretty straight forward.. Memory Corruption .. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 passes.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 passes.
Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Try removing any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Thanks for your work and time Fews.
However I have performed the memtest a few days ago over night. Ran 5 times with no errors. That was strange to me too...
I will try to remove deamon tools and the driver too.
As for DB3G.sys I have already uninstalled it.There might be some older dumps with the driver still figuring.
I have found giveio.sys today as well and havent found out how to update it and what the driver is for.

Upgrade of what?
PS. Today in the morning I was so frustrated for not finding the cause of these bsods, so I ran CPU, GPU stress test and memtest all at once. PC worked for about 4 mins and then crashed. Sadly I was not in the room, but heard the music stuck. So after restart I everything the same and stayed at the computer to monitor temps and volts, but for my surprise it ran for about 2 hours smoothly reaching the max temps of mobo to 51C, CPU 62C and GPU 70C. So I havent managed to make him stuck again today...

was this a clean install or an in place upgrade?.. btw... never run stress tests together, always one at a time... it will effect the accuracy of your results..

It was a clean instal of win 7 if that is what you are asking. But as I said I was getting these bsods and on win xp before. So I am pretty sure that this is a hardware issue, but I dont know which one :) I am not really into buying all the components in a row just for testing...
ps: I ran the test just to cause the maximum stress to computer, to see if it effects the crashes, and then I would use each test on its own :) but I see that they make no sense at all, except the gpu memory test, which was a complete error pool :D

are you sure this is because of that test with lots of errors on GPU memory?

ok I have tried one more video card test from this link Download Video Card Stability Test
And after starting the test the monitor started to go black for couple of times and then windows gave me this message: Display driver nvidia windows kernel mode driver, version 197.45 stopped responding and has succesfully recovered.
I think this might be it. Cause in all my bsods there is a problem with kernel mode( dont really know what it does :) )

That means the driver is a Kernel-mode driver and not User-mode. I can't pretend to know the subject well, but I can say that GFX drivers run in Kernel mode, and most other third-party drivers are user-mode.

Still, if the driver update doesn't work, it's time to investigate a hardware video error.

Hi, me again... however after 10 days of satisfaction I got a bsod today, playing mafia 2 :( I played it yesterday and a day before but it was ok. During this period of time I also stressed CPU, GPU and RAM a lot, but everything was working smoothly until today :( I have already thought that I solved the problem. I am attaching the dump, can anyone look at it please?

The dmp(s) point to ntkrpamp.exe or ntoskrnl.exe as the probable cause. We know this is not the case, as these are core OS files, and will definitely not cause a BSOD. They are just the default files the debuggers blame when they can't see a better cause.

This is looking more and more like a bad video card.. Take JKs' advice and consider replacing the card, or take your machine to a shop for repair..

You still have the same outdated drivers from the last .dmp files.. These MUST be updated ...
