Since yesterday I've been experiencing random BSODs. It usually happens when I'm web browsing, opening folders, or sometimes just idling in Desktop. It's never happened when I was gaming though.

I did Prime95, Memtest, and checkdisk. My system passed all three so maybe that would rule out hardware problems. I also tried removing my antivirus and reinstalling my video drivers but the BSOD still happens. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Ok, I tried uninstalling daemon tools but it's still happening. Prior to doing that, it's been getting much worse. If i just leave it in the desktop from a fresh restart, it BSOD's after 10-20 minutes everytime. Could a virus be causing this? I'm gonna try a system restore and see how it goes.

Hi, thanks again. I already have that driver and I tried uninstalling/reinstalling but BSOD still happens. I tried disabling my Internet Download Manager, Razer driver, and Malwarebytes from msconfig startup but it didn't fix it. It always BSOD's after 10 minutes. I'm also using the latest sound and ethernet drivers for my mobo.

What's strange is this only started happening yesterday and I never installed any new software. However, when I start Windows in safe mode, it works fine without any crashes. Right now it's been running in safe mode for almost an hour and no BSODs. Should I reformat and do a fresh install?

You don't have any antivirus do you? And any reason for not updating to Service Pack 1?
