random BSODs once in a month, error code 0x44

Computer was bought already assembled in the shop, BSOD happens randomly once in a month.
OS Windows 7 Home Basic x64.

The crashes are related to your Smb 2.0 Server driver. I wonder whether Symantec is the cause. I see it is the antivirus you are using, and server based issues can be due to conflicts with security software. Try contacting Symantec and seeing if they have seen problems related to the Smb 2.0 Server driver before.

Also, there are some hotfixes available through support.microsoft.com related to Smb 2.0 Server driver. I am unable to access any right now to determine which might help because support.microsoft.com seems to be down temporarily. I will try to find the links later after you contact Symantec. You may even want to mention the hotfixes to Symantec to see if they know about them. Maybe they can help you through support to get the hotfixes installed.
