Yo what's up guys?

So I have been having these nasty BSODs lately, 3 of them yesterday. I tried to debug them but it didnt tell me anything useful. Might be my TerraTec Cinergy tuner cards tho. But I'd be glad if you experts would take a look also :D

I attached all 3 minidumps

Thanks,

Akke

Hi there,

Seems like all the three dump are pointing to Ks.sys which is a Windows Kernel File which may not be the problem. I would recommend to run few tests.

Apply this update "Stop 0x0000007E" or "Stop 0x00000050" Stop error message in Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

Run a Hardware Diagnostic Hardware Diagnostic | Captain Debugger
Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Regarding the ASACPI.sys go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and rename ASACPI.sys to ASACPI.old. (OR) Apply the update from here

Code:
BAD_POOL_CALLER (c2)
The current thread is making a bad pool request. Typically this is at a bad IRQL level or double freeing the same allocation, etc.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000007, Attempt to free pool which was already freed
Arg2: 0000000000001097, (reserved)
Arg3: 00000000040b0001, Memory contents of the pool block

Thank you for the fast reply!

I am unable to do those things today but I will try tomorrow. (14h)

One thing - When I tried debugging, it did tell me about ks.sys but I thought that it couldn't be it because that was a part of windows. And I thought it told me it was ks.sys because in the beginning it told me "Your debugger is not using the correct symbols". How do I get the correct symbols? I am using the microsoft server as my symbol source right now.

Thanks,

Akke

are you sure the symbol paths are saved in the debugger?
You need to save your workspace after setting it.
When you first put in
SRV*c:\websymbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols

It should pause or say "busy" in the task for a bit while it downloads the symbols. I believe the base pack is something in the 88meg neighborhood.

Thank you guys!

The computer has mystically stopped BSODing, might be because I switched to DVBViewer instead of WMC for TV?

I did not apply any of he patches, but that seems to be okay since the problem seems to have gone away.

Anyways, thanks!
