yes, with the exception of uninstalling the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, which i cannot find anywhere in the device manager window.

It's a common problem with those Intel SATA/RAID drivers, and I''m not sure why either, because the problem seems to have only started happening recently as far as I can remember.
