I've gotten BSOD 3 times recently. Twice when using Photoshop and once when playing a browser game

My computer just freezes, but when I restart it I get the "you got BSOD'd" little window

I've recently updated my GPU driver (around two weeks ago), but other than that, no other hardware changes

Hello and welcome 7soul mate the dumps are coming up with refs to Genuine Intel now I am not real sure of that ref but have you been doing any overclocking and can you let us know what the temps are on the machine use this https://www.piriform.com/speccy/download

You have two problem devices in the msinfo readout but it would be good to see the temps first.

Ok temps look ok to me if these are at idle and I am guessing the ambient temperature where you live is fairly warm
Now some searching has come up with over clocking so have you been overclocking though it is hard to see how you could possibly do that with that particular core.

I might suggest that I ask for some help on this one as I am thinking maybe the CPU is not up to scratch.

As an afterthought 7soul do this ditty of mine and posp back a pic please

Using HW Info
PART A:
You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info
HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download < download the right bit version and close the right handwindow select Sensors and scroll down to the power section where you will seewhat the volts are doing see my pic. Now the section you want will be labelled- fpr example Asus boards usually have "Nuvoton" and Gigabyte boards"ITE" in any case the section you want will have Vbatt or VBAT in it(dead give away)
The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for thatbut for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main lefthand side panel
FOR OTHER COMPONENTS
PART B:
Open each small square with + in it on the section the components are in andthen click on the individual component/s (it will highlight in blue) - in theright hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds andother essential info that particular device. See pic for example.

USE PART A:

The BIOS battery needs changing mate ASAP it is well under voltage probably dead, it could even be a large part of the problem.

Just remember replacing it is going to change the BIS back to default settings in case you have altered any.

Yeah every time the energy goes out I have to reset the clock ^^' It's never much of a hassle so I keep on postponing changing it...

This will cause things like power states to change on the fly if you do not have it at a nominal value and will cause thing like system halts in extreme cases, any voltage fluctuation is a bad thing change it before you continue testing.

I also own a Thinkpad P50 Xeon 4K, X220T, X1C5
So I had the BIOS battery changed and also got a fresh windows install, but I'm still having computer crashes (with the "you got a BSOD" message after restart)

The computer just freezes, then I restart and it's back to normal

Another problem: sometimes the computer also doesn't shut down properly. I click "shut down" and windows, mouse, keyboard, etc shuts down properly, but my CPU fans are still on an lights on the CPU are still on as well. I have to hold down the power button to actually shut it down

After these shut downs, some times I get stuck in the loading bios screen (if I press TAB to see the bios loading, it stops mid way). Sometimes it doesn't respond at all, and sometimes I can press DEL to open setup, then I leave and the computer turns on normally after that

It froze 2 times, but the shut down problem already happened at least 5 times now, and a few times before replacing the battery

I checked windows events and found this:

Hmm now the volts on the 3.3 rails are low or teetering on about to give up.

What I did notice from your dumps was that you appear to have a very old install of Windows - 7600 whereas it should read 7601 SP1 (Service Pack 1) so where did you get this copy form because I have a nasty felling someone has sold you a non genuine copy:(
