Computer Randomly locks up about 4-5 times a month with nothing running but a screensaver. I've updated all the Hardwares drivers, but still no luck. I've even ran all diagnostics on all the hardware, everything is good. I've been battling this for over a year now. Here is what the report tells me;

Problem signature:

OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48

Anybody have an answer?

Maybe not an answer but have you made sure all your fans are working OK.
Any Dust Bunnies inside the case can cause many issues.

I have also heard that if you go into hybernation mode and come back some memory doesn't like what it sees.
For me I turn off Hibernation mode totally on all my systems.

If interested in trying go into CMD mode as Administrator and type
powercfg -h off

This will stop you from storing stuff when you leave the computer for awhile

To turn it back on
powercfg -h on

Try it and see what happens. Will not hurt anything.

Thanks for the reply. I spray out my computer once every couple of months, and all the fans are working (cpu, PS, & case). I also turned off hybernation day 1 due to the numerous complaints when it trys to start back up. I will try powercfg and see what happens. Thanks again.

Still Freezing

even while using powercfg, computer is still freezing. I'm certain its a hardware issue, but I can't pinpoint which item. All drivers are up to date. Any ideas will help.
