Hey everyone, I built a computer about a month ago, and recycled the video card and 3 HDD's from the old computer I used. I've been noticing a random stutter recently that also spikes the CPU usage for a split second, and makes the audio stutter along with no mouse or keyboard control. Checking temps showed my CPU was around 16 C during one of the spikes, and I'm completely stumped. Any help you guys could give would be great, thanks! (Also if this is the wrong place to put this, just let me know)

Specs:

Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU: AMD FX-8350
8 GB DDR3 GSkill
Motherboard: 990FXA-UD3 (4th Rev.)
Nvidia GTX 550 ti

HDD's:
596GB Western Digital WDC WD6400AAKS-00A7B2 ATA Device (SATA)
1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-9YN164 ATA Device (SATA)

Could potentially be malware buddy, Id advise running the AV you have on your system as well as these programs,

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
  • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click JRT.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.
Another useful one to use.

download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
  • Click on the Scan button.
  • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
  • After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
  • The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
  • A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.
Using AdwCleaner v3: Scan & Clean:
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool again.
Click on the Scan button.
AdwCleaner will begin to scan your computer like it did before.
After the scan has finished...

This time click on the Clean button.
Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.
After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S#].txt) will open automatically (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder

AVG reported nothing of note, same with Malware-Bytes. Here's the JRT.txt. (Unsure how to spoiler this into its own section)

Here is ADW's results, once again pasted in. Not sure why Firefox and Chromes Preferences are being checked in. Regardless, awaiting your response, thanks.

From what I'm aware, most of the options in both are related to Youtube Downloader. (YTD) I had planned to uninstall anyways, but I've never had issues with it in the past few years of use. Anyways, thanks again for the help.

I googled around, but how do I exclude the preferences for Chrome and Firefox? I have zero toolbars on either, and all the extensions on both are safe. I just don't want to lose my bookmarks/extensions/everything else on the browsers.

Edit: Guy who helped set me up told me I had legitimate Microsoft Office, did a safe mode start-up and AVG detected an "AutoKMS.exe" that Google tells me cracks Office. Haven't experienced any odd stutters since then, so I'll mark this as solved for now. Thanks for all the help.
