Hello everyone,

I bought a new laptop, a few weeks ago.
After several windows updates, my explorer keeps crashing:(

I am a webdeveloper, and work with a local webserver, wich is installed on my /C: drive.
This is not the problem, i have already uninstalled everything i once installed on this laptop, but i keep having this problem. I have also been scanning for any virusses on this laptop, but without any result.

The crash appears when i am using the explorer(documents, c/, d/), at random.
There has been one point where i KNOW it is gonna crash, thats when i'd copy some files, and try to paste them in another location.. This is kind of annoying, due to the fact that the files get damaged.

I hope that someone here can help me:)

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Event viewer (local) and look for errors listed in the last day, week, etc. Then go to the windows log>application tab. Finally the windows Logs>system tabs.

You want to look for all errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.
