Solved Random freeze and BSOD even after fresh install of windows 7

Hello, this is my first post in sevenforums. i have been facing a terrible problem lately. After just a regular windows installation My pc performance became extremely poor and hangs frequently, it either hangs or restarts showing bsod. About 6 times per hour (just imagine how annoying that can be ) I installed windows formatting my C drive 4 times already, but the problem seems to persist. I ran malwarebytes in safe mode using chameleon but nothing was found (except the usual crack files). All the softwares i use are the same ones i have been using for 4-5 years, just upgraded versions. After reading some threads here i uninstalled Virtual clone drive. The pc is now stable for the last 4 hours..no freeze,no bsod..but i am not sure if it stopped immediately after uninstalling that software.( I have already spent hours searching for solutions, getting kind of sloppy now). Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Dont get sloppy, man :shock:

First of all, Virtual Clone Drive causes a lot of BSODs. Uninstalling it is the right step. Observe the situation over a few hours. Restart it a couple of times. If it was all due to VirtualClone Drive, it is over.

For any further BSOD, post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

And, dont put anything in startup, other than egui.

Uninstalling virtual clone drive did not solve the problem, just downgraded from windows 7 ultimate to Home Premium. running quite well now, stable.
