Hi,
I've had frequent computer freezes (Screen frozen, no response, only solution is to use the power button to turn my computer off) and some BSOD's. (the freezing is more frequent, a few times a week)
My processor is relatively new (6 months, I'd say), but I can't tell if problems started with that installation. No other new hardware.
Ran memtest86 (v.4.3.7) 5 passes, no errors found.
I noticed that my driver ntsokrnl.exe, at the origin of 4 of my BSOD's, doesn't seem to be up to date, but I don't know how to solve this. I have had issues from the start with windows update and several updates were skipped, either by the update tool because they failed, either manually by me after their installation crashed my computer and forced me to revert to previous states. I have no pending updates, but I know that my update history is a hole-filled mess.
I think that my drivers are all up to date. At least I updated all the drivers that I could think of right from the start and a recent check hasn't found new ones.
Thanks for your help,
Eddie
