Alright, so let me explain this the best way I can.
This has happened on Windows 7 and Windows 8, and I recently went back to Windows 8, and what do you know? The same issue regardless....

Usually when I am playing a game (And I don't even have to be playing a game) such of Spacebase, Dayz, Far cry, Second Life, Gary's Mod (Anything really) windows explorer will freeze, I can move my mouse and such, but you are not able to click anything, or close anything. Screen flicks back and comes back to normal again, usually on Windows 7 it would tell me it recovered from a graphics driver crash, but Windows 8 doesn't do that, it just does what it did on Windows 7, but doesn't tell me it recovered, and this happens SEVERAL TIMES, it never stops...Or sometimes the game will stop responding, but if you're browsing the web, you can open tabs, but you cannot close, or browse anything in that tab until the game responds again, and the final thing, least on Windows 7, has not happened on Windows 8 yet, instead of those issues, it will just blue screen on me and come right back. I believe it's driver related, but I cannot fix it, I have tried and tried, and I have just about gave up. Maybe someone here can guide me. Also I have tried the current, and beta graphics drivers, doing full wipes before each one, and with no avail...

I would try a hardware monitor utility that can display the GPU temp. Se if it's out of normal range. Also you can try turning hw accel off in browsers. See if the crashing stops. Sometimes those GPU fans crap out, if it has one.

What is your GPU under load? It's when you're playing games and the GPU is under load that it's freezing up, isn't it?

Was just about to post that! =P
Under a load (WITH) 100% (Maxed Fans) is 45C

Without the maxed fans 65-75C (Mainly high 50s and low 60s)

Does it freeze up with the fan maxed out? Also, did you try MilesAhead's suggestion of turning off HW acceleration in your browser?

So far, no it has not froze up yet. Also, yes I have turned off HW Acceleration in Chrome.

Alright so it froze up again, even my music paused, I could open up applications I already had open but they were not responding, then after a minute everything unfroze and started to respond again.

GPU temp was at 27C during that...So what else could this problem be?

Has happened 4 more times since I have posted this, all the same issues to. Everything freezes/stops responding, but I am able to switch through non responding applications, and I am not able to open anything until it responds again.

Actually, I may have fixed the problem, I have been checking event viewer but I just never caught anything until now. There was one error that stated
"A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Windows Error Reporting Service service to connect."
The times that those random freezes occurred is when those errors were posted in event viewer.
I never thought much of it...so I looked into it, then decided to go into Services and check "Windows Error Reporting" and it was not even running, so I enabled it, and set it to start automatically, and so far, I have had no issues. I'll report back *IF* something arises, but so far everything is smooth sailing.
