I am having random crashes that started on Friday night. I believe it is connected to an issue with my iPod being disconnected while still in use, but don't know for sure. I am trying stuff mentioned in the following thread:
HTML:
http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/40776-random-temporary-freezing.html#post395675

I have deleted mDNSResponder.exe, but can't figure out how to unregister
mdnsNSP.dll in Windows 7 x64. I have also disabled the iPod Service and the Bonjour Service at this point. I would love to be able to use both of these, as I have an iPod and do stream music from this machine to my laptop via iTunes.

I have attached my system info and an sfc log. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here is the info I am working off of from the other thread:

Copy and paste these lines one by one and hit enter after each:

“%PROGRAMFILES%\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe” -remove

regsvr32 /u “%PROGRAMFILES%\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dll”

If you're using x64, it's different commands.

torrentg, thanks very much for the reply! i am actually not having a bsod. my pc just freezes completely. i can't do anything, not even press ctrl-alt-del. the error log doesn't show anything that i notice. i posted my system info and an sfc scan. the folder "minidump" doesn't even exist on my drive. what should i post, since i am not having a bsod?

thanks again!
