Random Freezes

I keep getting straight freezes no bsod's nothing but just a FREEZE i've got it twice today once while ctrl alt deleting and opening steam, and another by extracting something with winrar.

One place to check is the event viewer. type event viewer in search. go to the winows logs>applications tab. you want to look for errors (they have red in the left column) that say app hand, app crash, etc. when you find them note the event ID and source codes and tell us waht they are

There was also one about adobe air so i just deleted the program.
