Random hang with no specific no error.

Hello, I am having a problem that doesn't have any pattern, sometime my PC will run fine for 24 hours, but some other time it will hang and need a reset. No BSOD, no errors, no any error event in the events logs.

How do I go debugging this one?

I would watch temps and if possible, try another psu.

Hi macromax,

As mentioned above do look for temperature of your CPU and GPU. You can use MSI afterburner for GPU temp monitoring and CPU Z for CPU's temp.

Also run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html for any errors. Run memtest overnite to check for any errors on the RAM.

Yes of course I already did an extensive hardware check, including CPU/GPU/HDD stress, I also run driver verifier. Nothing return error.

I wouldn't dare wasting your time without testing everything I can first

Did you try to run the PC with different PSU?

I found the problem: seems like was somehow caused by NVIDIA drivers, not sure if GeForce Experience or the HD Audio driver, anyway I rolled back to 314.22 and the crashing stopped. Thanks again.
