Hello,

I am seeking assistance with an issue which started at the start of this year. I have been experiencing random BSOD crashes while gaming, browsing the internet, doing work on MS Word and a range of other situations. I have tried to keep track of the crash codes, some of which are posted below, and have run "DM Log Collector". I initially assumed it was overheating due to the 30+ degree days, but this doesn't appear to be the case. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Crash 1: 3.1.2015

BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
BCP2: FFFFF8800F2F583B
BCP3: FFFFF880023B2228
BCP4: FFFFF880023B1A80

Crash 2: 18.1.2015

BCCode: 1000007e
BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
BCP2: FFFFF8800F30683B
BCP3: FFFFF880023B2228
BCP4: FFFFF880023B1A80

Since these 2 crashes, the frequency has increased. Last night I had 2 crashes while this morning I have had another 3. I have attached the DM Log.

The last time I experienced these crashes was shortly after the computer was delivered. The graphiccs card was faulty and was replaced. However, that was close to a year ago and I have not had issues since.

Thank you

Hi There,

Both of your dumps are flagging your graphics driver,

Code:
BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff8800f30b83b, fffff88003775228, fffff88003774a80}

Probably caused by : atikmdag.sys ( atikmdag+c483b )

Followup: MachineOwner

Which is about a year old,

Code:
 Loaded symbol image file: atikmdag.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys
    Image name: atikmdag.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR="Red"]Fri Jan 31 12:24:44 2014[/COLOR] (52EC068C)
    CheckSum: 00D501B6
    ImageSize: 00DA1000
    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

Try updating that driver,

Desktop

Hopefully that solves it for you.

Thank you - I will update now. Seems the auto-update feature doesn't work or I have it set up incorrectly.

Appreciate the help. Thanks!

You're welcome, that's probably a good thing to not auto update anyway, at most I would only want it to notify and you can decide if it's necessary.
