Damn good! It is a gas turbine compressor (AM32C-60) with a generator to supply 3 phase power to aircraft and it supplies bleed air to aid in aircraft engine starting.

I don't think so. We talked to them and learned that they had been sent there on "maneuvers". They only realized the seriousness of the situation once they had landed. These tanks were hauled in with planes - in 1968. One landing every 5 minutes. We saw them flying overhead.
We were stuck for 3 days at the hotel. Shirley Temple was at our hotel too - very scared.
