Random severe lock-ups with the occasional BC124 on BSOD

AMD FX-4300 Vishera 3.8 GHz (Set to 1.8 GHz)
Windows 7, x64, have already attempted several full system reinstalls.

Random lock-ups that causes the HDD light to turn off
Random restarts that come up as blue screen errors. BC 124, likely to do with conflicting hardware.

The problem with this machine has been occurring ever since its original build and has only since recently begun to show the BSOD error. Previously, the motherboard had an issue with its Northbridge chip and required that the motherboard was replaced, furthermore, recently the Processor was replaced as well.

In summary; the components are mostly relatively new and the random lock-ups have been occurring since the time the machine was built.

Additionally, this appears to be primarily occurring during League of Legends, however I cannot confirm this to be the ONLY Cause of the lock ups.
