Every time I have the computer on, couple of minutes later I hear this sound of something shutting down inside the case. It is annoying and I want it to stop.

Razor without actually hearing this noise mate it is hard to say what it is. Now is it a click clunk beep or what? and does anything shut down when the noise happens?
Could be just a fan shutting off - a wild guess.
