Hi there,
I have been having very bad lag spikes and they last for a few minutes. It is so bad that everything slows down and the actions take places after some seconds. I think it might be my wireless connection but the weird thing is instead of internet slowing down the whole comp slows down. I have a C2D 2ghz. I have this problem when watching Netflix videos online, and playing games like L4D. I have to quit what i am doing and then wait for some time as the comp goes back to normal. Also most of the time I have firefox running in the background with 1-2 tabs and i have heard firefox causes some problems as well.
So i just cant figure out the reason for this bad slowdowns. It feels as if I have a pentium 2 and have accidently started 10 programs at once
. Either its the wireless connection, or a cpu problem or firefox.
Please help me sort this out.
