Randomly occuring "Memory Management" BSODs?

Agreed

Actually, when I got these last BSODs I googled around a bit and it seems like, sometimes and for some people, that the combination of ASUS AI Suite + Windows x64 disagrees with some antivirus programs. Could've been that. We'll see.

Ok, I reinstalled the entire OS from scratch some week ago ... but the problem with the random BSODs still persists ...

I had one five days ago after which I basically did nothing. The next one came two days ago and then I removed the NIS, reinstalled your "lightweight solution" and switched on the verifier with all testing settings. Just got another BSOD however.

There literally the same BSODs as before, it must be a hardware issue if you've clean installed etc.

How long has Driver Verifier been running?

The verifier has run when the entire rig has been on ever since I switched it on after the BSOD two days ago.

I agree with your suspicion that it is something hardware related after all. Given the randomness on when the BSODs occur I find it hard to pinpoint something software relared. Hard to guess what the h**l the real problem is though, since I ran all the hardware stress tests without problems.

Ah well, I guess I have to live with them <shrugs>

It's running perfectly fine otherwise, and an BSOD interruption now and then is no big thing imho

It's strange

Have you tried having the bare minimum hardware? E.g one OS drive and one stick of RAM etc.

No I haven't. No offense and thank you for the suggestion, but I don't feel the problem is that worrysome that I want to test it either. Quite alot work for a long shot at finding the problem

How regularly does it happen now? The most confusing BSOD I've ever had

Haven't had any since the last one two days ago. That's what is so puzzling. Everything runs smooth and fine regardless of how hard I'm pressuring the PC. The BSOD usually hits out of nowhere with no discernible pattern or frequency, sometimes even when the system is idling.

Another point for that its probably some hardware glitch somewhere.

... and I don't know if I'm grappling at straws, but I have a feeling that the BSODs are less frequent when I switch off the sleep mode and let the computer on at all times.

... and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who is confused

Leave Sleep Mode off then, I never use it, and you'll be able to boot up and shut down quickly anyway with a SSD
