Also, where on the CP do I find my rep power? I must be missing it as I don't see it.

We all started there. you will be surprised at how fast it goes up especially if you post alot.

there is one change in the rep and badges page. the most that non admins can give you (or anyone) is 25 points. everything else on the repa nd badges page is current

No, no... I know what an MVP is, and what you have to do to become one. I just didn't see it on the main page for ranks. Does this mean if you have MS Certifications, you can have those posted with your ranks too?

It's a unique badge that, once awarded by MS, will be added manually by the Admin, technically it cannot be earnt so wont be in the main list of ranks as it's not part of this site and not a rank as such.

John uses the MVP badge as a sign of recognition to those few who have it... As far as I know that is the only one he uses as a special rank badge...
