I think installed and then uninstalled it for some reason. After I installed it again.. there's no image for RAR files. It's only display that white icon with a window in it. How do I get the original RAR icon back?

Check WinRAR settings

Integration tab: Associate with the file types you want, and Shell Integration - Integrate into shell and select the context menu items you want to see. Then restart and see if the icons come back.

Sorry I don't know what you just said there. What's the Integration Tab and what's Shell Integration?

But someone told me it might have something to do with the Icon Cache? You know what that is?

I was assuming (mistakenly?) that you used WinRAR - if you open the WinRAR console, select the Options menu, then Settings, and then you will see the Integration tab I was referring to.

You assumed correctly :) I am using WinRAR and you solved my problem!! Thanks! I thought I already associated .rar files with WinRAR when I was installing it...
