I am having a weird problem with my RAT 5 mouse. for some reason, when i plug it in, it takes about a minute for both my laptop and my desktop to connect my mouse to the cursor and move the cursor when i move the mouse. yet, i can use the buttons as soon as it is plugged in. anyone else have this problem? have any way to solve it?

Hi,

I just want to reassure you: I have the same problem on my desktop with Windows 7 Ultimate x64, but I just tried on my laptop with Windows 7 Pro x86 and it works 100% fine.

I'm guessing there is a problem with a recent Windows 7 64 bit update?

Same for me now: the cursor can move, but won't move sideways most of the time. Sometimes it won't move at all. Everything else works fine.

I contacted Saitek help and they told me to check my mo-bo drivers, but I've had no luck doing that. In the end, I still can't use my RAT 5...
