well 1st rumor was april 10th, then that technet page surfaced where it said may 2009. So honestly noone knows now, however i would more thrust in to accidently published technet page then to rumor.

I agree. It seemed a bit too early for MS to be able to announce a RC and to even name the day.
Lets face it, most of us will grab what ever we can, when ever we can.

Probably fake. Why would someone who's trying to show that they have that give such a small image? You can barely make out the supposed build number.

That said i would then say 50/50 chance. I don't think testers would have it, or that it will be leaked but the shot could well be real.

But then again i am always quite optimistic pmpl.

I've checked the image & it doesn't seen to be tampered with (unlike the supposed leak of build 7075). But still, 50/50 we'll just have to keep your eyes (or browsers) peeled.

Anyway ill try to explain what wzor was saying. Build 7073 was first build branched twice, once as 7073.winmain and once as 7073.win7rc. Build 7077 was also branched twice, once as 7077.win7rc and once as 7105.winmain. And its expected that sometimes in next 2 days, MS will decide what build will become RC-escrow build.

Well i want to know if its fake or not, mainly to delete the shot from my blog if it is...

And i could show you a simple shot of every build from 7000>7068 and it would look no different, the changes are far deeper.

Correct me if i'm wrong but XP 32bit says it all really. This is a Windows 7 forum, and by all means get help from 'us all' but to ask 'who cares??' you shouldn't post on anything relating to new builds if you're not interested.

Try & show some respect to those who endevour to find out this info for the benefit of the others....

I used Windows 7 it was good and nice etc.. I have 7068 , it's really great, the only reason I don't use it, because others use my PC too and I have a small harddrive.
