RDP over VPN?

Hello, new to the forum here. I am hoping to get some assistance with an issue that I have been trying to figure out but have been unsuccessful at resolving. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided and input given.

Here is what I would like to accomplish:

I would really like to be able to access a computer Via RDP with a VPN connection. I have searched to the end of the earth but cannot find what im looking for.

i installed and have pulled my hair out trying to use devolution remote desktop manager but to no avail.
