I am attempting to do a clean install of Windows 7 from a re-installation disc. The whole point of this is to completely reformat and create room on my HDD so that there is space for my Windows 7 partition and then extra room for a Linux/other partition, but when I go into the custom options of what partition to install my image of 7 there is no option to reformat the whole hard drive. The only reason I am doing this is because when I've tried to install Ubuntu Linux already the installer recognizes my drive as completely allocated even though I have created room on my current partition. I can supply images and system information I'm just really determined to create a dual boot system, not a virtual machine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks T3ch Savy(Sort of)
