Re installed windows

I have just reinstalled windows 7 on my pc. My hard drive is partitioned into 2 a C and D drive. I just have the Windows files in my C dive and keep everything else on the D drive. None of my programes are now in the all programmes list in the start menu nor are they in add or remove programmes. IS there a way to get all the programmes that i have installed showing up on these again.

Hello Matt,

If you did a clean install of Windows 7, then you will usually have to reinstall the programs as well. When a progam installs it creates registry entries and may place files in other system locations other than the Program Files folder or D drive in your case. Sorry.

Since they run just fine, then you could just create new shortcuts from the programs' exe files, and move them into your Start Menu All Programs area as in the tutorial below.
