On re-installing Win 7 Dell Tech had a problem using IE 11 (for certain drivers, etc., I assume) and installed 10 instead but left the 11 update hidden. See attachment. This was about 6 weeks ago. Will there be a problem unhiding and installing it now?

A little worried about CPU temp that gets up to 180 F when watching TV via Media Center. 140-150 F normally.
Make a system restore point and then try to install. If anything goes wrong it would be very easy to reverse to IE10. For your info. I had 11 and went back to 10; 11 had nothing but problems for me. For example, you tube did not work properly, browser froze many times, etc.

Hi Hiding an update does just that,
It's the only way to get ie11 back is to Unhide the update,
There shouldn't be an issues from that basic operation,
Cheers.
The latest version of ie11 is a bit better than prior versions,
You will most likely have a new version available after un-hiding the other update.
