Reactivate Windows 7

I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed in VHD. Now i want to install in real hard disk. Can I reactivate with the same key? I ask because there are Microsoft VHD HBA entry in storage controller and Msft Virtual Disk SCSI Disk Device in Disk Drives in Device manager. So is it the change in hardware which makes the activation fail ?

Any prior installations must be removed, then install on the new HD. Do not give the key when asked and uncheck the box alllowing automatic activation. Once you are up and running activate by phone. You will be ok. A rep may talk to you, just explain and you will be good to go.
