Read only/Ownership

Hi,
I don't know is this a problem or not at all.
Recently,I+ve noticed that when I'm installing some programs,sometimes I am getting message that program can not access a temporary files,or I should check do I have a right to access a target folder.And in the most of cases,instalation won't go further until I take ownership of temp file created in temp folder.
OK,I assumed that maybe I 've done something wrong,and I have taken ownership for a dozen times until now,but the problem is still here.
Since it hasn't happening before,I checked the properties of Documents folder and noticed that all folder inside default user folder,included documents,downloads,desktop are read-only.Hmmm,I didn't noticed that before so I tried to change properties and remove "read-only" attribute.OK,I took the ownership(AGAIN!),open properties,remove"read-only",and "ok"-finished.So,let's check what have we done and...STILL READ-ONLY!I think I don't need to say that I tried every possible combination through advanced,checking boxes,unchecking boxes,to give rights,to take rights,and etc,but nothing worked,at least nothing I know for.
So,is there any possible way so I can get back default state for doument folder and remove that read-only attribute,or that is default for documents folder maybe?

I still haven't read whole thread from your answer,but beside that,I believe where have I made i misstake,and I hope that in thread you are reffering to,is also an answer on that.
For I don't know what reason,I opened Program Data,and noticed that owner rights,and other rights too,are dedicated only to default user,what means me.
And now the problem is that system does not have enough right to make any changes.
So,I have to give right to system too,right?
And who else have to be on the owner's list?Default user,system,and...?
Is there any way I can do that automatically,or is there any command capable to do that so I don't have to change rights manually in every folder I have to change?

Ahhhh....Somehow,I've managed to allow installer to write in TEMP,Program Data,and to put the shortcut on to desktop,but while I was doing that I believe I gave permission to absolutely everything to do absolutely everything in absolutely every folder.
OK,it should keep for few days til I make another repair install.
Wanted to make it now,but hadn't so much time,because now,when my PC is almost full,repair instaill takes quite long time.

It sounds like you have things pretty much under control. I think that when you finally make the repair install you will be in good shape. Just take your time, as you have been and you will be up and running the way you want, soon. I not think that you will need much more help. It seems that you know quite a bit about computers.
