read only problems

Hello everyone

i have seen this questions posted before and have tried your solutions but alas they dont work

my folders in windows 7 have suddenly all become read only

my problem with this is
inside these folders i cant extract RAR files

nor can i change text documents
of any cfg's this is becoming a huge problem for me as im sure you understand

i have used the take ownership reg. program but still same problem i have also changed my privilages in the hard drive's security tabs but still every time i uncheck the read only box it just changes back.

i used bit defender to scan my pc and still same problem

i hope you can help me with this problem

the read only box will always have a square in it. this means it is in a neutral state. if it has a tick in it, that means that it is read only.

ok maybe i have stated my problem wrong then,
the problems are that it seems i dont have admin rights on my pc

for example programs that need to change logs and save settings cannot it seems that axess is being denied and i cannot extract rar files within these folders ?

does anyone have any ideas or solutions?
