RealPlayer opens an upgrade to Plus window when opening a video stream

Everytime I tried to open rtsp://streamserverIP:554/live.sdp (my IP camera video stream file); realPlayer Basic v14 kept opening an upgrade to realPlayer Plus window. When I click on "No thanks" another window for free trial opened. This was an endless loop. The IP camera video stream is H264 format and streams just fine on my other Windows 7 PC. Well, to make a long story short; the Win 7 Pro machine did not have QuickTime player installed which provided the H264 codec needed. I installed QuickTime and the IP camera now streams via realPlayer 14. I suspect you could install any H264 codec and accomplish the same thing and avoid the Plus upgrade. I hope this post will help others with similar realPlayer issues.

Thanks Allenn. I'm a regular RealPlayer user and appreciate the information. I haven't had this problem (yet) but now I'll know how to handle it.
