I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits and my sound refuses to work. I have a Realtek Onboard Soundcard and I could not get anything else than DIGITAL OUTPUT. After installing the latest drivers, I managed to get sound, but it is LAGGY, REALLY LOW and HAS INTERFERENCES ( I SCROLL MY MOUSEWHEEL AND IT MAKES SOUND, I TYPE AND IT MAKES SOUND). It refuses to DETECT my BACKPANEL and doesn't do anything if I plug my headphones into my FRONT PANEL as well.
Ok so I got my sound to work, but now I get randomly cracking sounds and my mic won't work (it picks up my output sound that goes through my headphones). What is even more odd is the following where my REALTEK HD AUDIO OUTPUT when muted still produces sound I can hear and the only way to cut off my headphones sound so I don't hear anything is by muting the front level yet I am plugged into my rear green output jack that is still not recognized by the Realtek Drivers.
Please fill in the "My System Specs". Without the PC info we can only guess.
