Good evening

This is my first post and I apologise if this is in the wrong forum topic. I have just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and so far I have enjoyed it. My computer seems to be on a second wind with a renewed boost in performance.

I do though have a folder reappearing on the desktop which I put there at one point but have since removed when I no longer needed. Now after starting the computer the folder seems to appear on its own accord. I would really welcome advice on how to overcome this problem. There is no software running in the background and msconfig does not display any errant start up programs.

Thanks

Colin Hi and welcome

You can try booting into safe mode (F8) and deleting it there?

What is the folder? I'm wondering if it's actually in All Users / Desktop or Default / Desktop.
