Is it possible to set the icons in a folder with pictures in a random faschion (like on the desktop); not alphabehic? View in this folder is "Large Icons"

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are asking.
you can sort by name, date, type, dimension and in ascending or descending order.
These sort features should apply to both files and folders when used, and the sort menu is found by right clicking the open space same way the view options are.
